It wont do any harm if you do, as this will show the Courts that you have tried to settle the issue amicably. Only give them 14 days to respond though.

Is there a template letter for a letter of this type as i have looked but an unable to locate it!

Not a template as such no, just write a calm letter inviting them to take this final opportunity to enter into dialogue with you to resolve the issue, before you submit your paperwork to the Courts, ask them to respond with their intentions in writing within 14 days.

AGAIN DO NOT SIGN THE LETTER.

Have recieved a letter from FOS & they are unable to help due to them not being regulated by them at the time so, now it seems the only way to go is the route of the court!

I have handed mine over to the solicitors now. Has fob offs from both FOS and DAF so I had enough. Took it to the solicitors who are now dealing with it.

Took mine to an independent one. Showed them all 3 arch-lever files that I have kept and they have taken on the case. Cant see DAF getting away with it now!!! Think they are in for a shock if they, as they claim, 'haven't done anything wrong'. I think they will find they have, naughty people!!!

So, could this be classed as a case of of Fraudulent Misrepresentation by YCC/DAF at the point of sale?
