Hi - have been fighting GO DEBT for some 4 years now, they have threatened may times to but have never followed up. Today have received a copy of a statutory demand, its is not even an signed original, it looks like it was delivered by hand. Basically we paid nearly the whole amount for the car, had about £1800 left but could not pay and were bullied into returning the car (not by GO DEBT). We did take out all 3 insurances and used out old car for the deposit. Any idea on what to do next.

So Godebt have finally come active here. If I remember right we wrote a letter for you stating all the legal arguments against your contract. It seems to me then that Godebt are not going to take you seriously. In this case give our legal partners Stephensons a call. I know when they get involved Godebt write off our users debt.

Unfortunately Stephensons now charge for their services which I believe should be around £250. Godebt know they are going to lose but are going ot force you to pay Stephensons. Well what they are really hoping on is that you cannot afford Stephensons so hope you backtrack and give in to them. William Rhodes and gang are a bitter and twisted lot when it comes to us and have shown no remorse for the victims of the scam called YCC.

Hi - have just put another post up - as your know got the debt written off even though it had gone to SD stage, one of the arguements that GO DEBT did give me when I told them I was using Stephenson what that Stephensons fees would be more than the debt so I should use my money to the pay them!!! It only cost £250 which was well worth it. Anyway now sorted and will no longer hear from them - wonder if they will be sending me a Xmas card this year. Keep up the good work
