Hells Angel

My mate sent me this joke on email, so thought it may brighten up a dull day.

A hells Angel is riding his Bike in the Country minding his own Business, just enjoying being out on his beloved wheels.

Just as he stops for a drop of water out of his Flask, the clouds above him part, and there, he sees an image of Gods Face.
Well..... After he rubbed his eyes in disbelief, he says in a shaky voice "who are you, what do you want with me?"

"I am God" said the strange Apparition.

" I have watched you for a long time, and you are a credit to your Beliefs. I have watched you help people, tend to injured Animals, just loving the creations i have put before you".

God carried on " So for being a symbol of everything i hoped for in this World, i am granting you one wish, Use it wisely".

The Hells Angel, still a bit scared, says Okay, then thinks long and hard what he will wish for.

"Okay" he says, " I would like you to build me a road and Bridge, from here in Anglesey, right to Manhattan, then i could just Ride, Ride, Ride, no interruptions, and i can go on a journey of a life time".

Next minute there is Thunder and Lightening, as GOD Gets angry.

"WHAT" he Shouts " I HAVE MADE THIS WORLD LIKE IT IS, AND YOU WANT TO RUIN IT? THINK OF ALL THE STEEL WILL BE ERECTED, AND THE POLLUTION THAT THERE WILL BE IN MAKING THE STEEL IN THE FIRST PLACE, THINK OF ALL THE COUNTRYSIDE IT WILL RUIN, AND ALL THE HUMANS WHO WILL HAVE TO BUILD IT, AND THE TOLL IT WILL TAKE ON THEIR HEALTH, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD MAN, I THOUGHT WITH YOUR PAST BEHAVIOUR YOU WOULD BE MORE COURTEOUS TO WHAT I HAVE OFFERED YOU".

The Biker knows he has angered God, and says " Im sorry, i never thought".

After a while he chirps up again " Okay God i have got it"

" My wish is, please let me completely understand a woman,! When my wife cries , i would like to understand why she is crying. When she is Moody, i would like to understand the reason she is in a mood, And when she is...........................

"CHRIST MAN" Shouts God, " STOP THERE", How many lanes do you want on that bridge.

DLC contact YCC ignored voluntary surrender

We have just been contacted by DLC saying they have now bought the debt of £3,199.13 from YCC.

When we bought our S reg Diesel car from the Coventry Branch, I specifically asked them to confirm that before I purchased this diesel, that all belts had been changed and that it had had its "123" point independant check as advertised, to which they verbally said yes, it had. A few months later when we were on holiday, the starter motor failed and when we took it to the garage, the warranty company that we had bought the policy along with the car, had gone bust. The garage did the work on the car in anticipation of the work being paid for only for 2 weeks later to chase us for the payment due to the warranty not paying it! We then later on had to have the tyres changed on the car, only for the garage to tell us we had a car fitted with wrong sized wheels (for a Ford Granada) and that due to this, it had forced the wishbones to bend in and nearly collapse, this again cost in excess of £300 to fix. YCC denied any warranty responsibility for this. It eventually came to a head when the cam belt snapped on the engine and it seized up completely making it completely unusable and worthless. We checked with a Ford garage and they told us that the belt should have lasted 80,000 or 3 years which ever came sooner if it was fitted when Yes Car said it was, it had only done 48.000 and we had had it for 2 years. Plus the car only had 10 & half months MOT when purchased and not 12 as advertised and we were bullied by the manager saying that was all we could have from them, and we wont get the finance without having all the payment plan insurances and we did not get the free 6 months car tax entitlement either.

When we rang YCC to query the warranty on the engine and they wouldn't deal with it, I pointed out all my issues with the car in the past and I asked them to provide me with the proof that the car had had all of its paperwork to prove that this work had been carried out independantly, to which I was laughed at over the telephone and told "not to be ridiculous and that it had been over 2 years & we dont keep any paperwork after that amount of time!" which I found strange and quite disturbing that they did not have any of the records relating to the sale of the car to us. Anyway after discussing the situations with them, I stated I would be voluntarily surrendering the vehicle and I confirmed that in writing to them, after asking them to meet me half way on the cost of repairs etc which they refused to do. I was up to date with all payments until that point. They agreed to them collecting the vehicle, me paying the collection charge as it was undriveable and that we would pay the £1000 only for outstanding insurance payments as the car repayments would cease to which we agreed to verbally over the phone and also in writing in the surrender letter.

As soon as I sent the letter, I received no more communications from YCC, and when we called them to chase the collection of the car, no department would deal with me saying another department had my details, and was passed from pillar to post, eventually one person gave me thdetails of the vehicle collection agency and when I contacted them 5 times each time they said they had not recieved the paperwork and knew nothing about it. The last call the agency owner said that a female driver would be collecting the vehicle with 14 days and would be in touch to make arrangements. I am still waiting.

We kept the car until Nov. 07, unitil we were forced to scrap the vehicle due to my lanlord saying move it or else we could have lost our home if it wasnt removed.

We have been contacted by at least 5 different debt collection agencies since the original letter, saying that we have defaulted on payments, which was never the case as as far as we were concerned the car had been surrendered and we owed them no more than the £1000 insurance amount that we had agreed upon. I have said the same to all of them that I dont think what YCC has done has been legal and that they have gone againts their own credit agreement and that I would not accept their claim, and to either send it back to YCC or their representives/administrators and get them to deal with me directly as origianally agreed or take me to court. None of them have and a couple of them totally agreed with my points.

DLC seem to be a different animal though, and although polite on the phone, they are subtly threatening trying to frighten me into making full payments , mentioning CCJ's, Attachment of Earnings and Bankcruptcy during the conversations, and have no interest in my argument with YCC as as far as they are concerned they have bought a "Debt" and they want that money. I have spoken to them and I have said that I think that the debt of £3,199.13 is not legal, or it is legal, I certainly dont thingk the amount is fair, due to the above points and for them to proceed as far as they feel they have to.

In the meantime I can only assume they are going to take me to court, so I would greatly appreciate some legal & financial advice form any one that has been in a similar situation with DLC & YCC.

Many Thanks

Obsidian5
